Caught on Camera

Scandal meets seduction when America’s golden guy falls for a woman with secrets.
Beautiful Vega Zaragoza learned the hard way that sex and the spotlight don’t mix. Now the former model makes her living behind the camera, working as a videographer to escape public scrutiny. But when Vega gets a shot at her dream job, one that puts her back in the public eye, she must choose: continue to play it safe or gamble everything to go toe-to-toe—and heart-to-heart— with the city’s most eligible bachelor.
JP Davenport is the golden boy of American politics, rumored to be the governor’s 1st choice for Georgia’s open senatorial seat. Charming and gorgeous, he is also fiercely private, with a string of romantic conquests a mile long. Now he wants to add Vega to their ranks. And he will do anything to have her. Vega should know better than to trust a man like him. But kiss by heated kiss, she discovers this man may be worth the risk

********** EXCERPT *********

She crossed the room, suddenly unsure how to walk in the spikes as he devoured her every move. When she passed in front of him, he touched a hand to the small of her back and fire licked from his heated fingers into her body, toasting all sorts of hidden places.
“What was it you wished to talk about again?” he asked, his voice as coarse as gravel.
“You know full well what I’m here to talk about.”
“Honey, at the moment all I know is how bad I want those legs wrapped around me.” His fingers drifted lower but he remained a gentleman.
She stopped in the threshold of the dining room and took in the scene. The ambience was far too intimate. Two place settings angled together on one corner of the twelve-person table. Gleaming china trimmed in gold, flickering candlelight, and elegant crystal all beckoned.
Seduction.
And she had seen this particular play before.
She wiggled her fingers together in a nervous gesture, unable to control the action, and reminded herself this time was different. This time she was older, not as naive, and no one was hiding anything. They both knew exactly why the other was here.
She wanted the interview.
He wanted her naked.
Gulping, she moved forward and wondered which one would get their wish.

Kim Law wrote her first story, “The Gigantic Talking Raisin,” in elementary school. Although it was never published, it was enough to whet her appetite for a career in writing. First, however, she would try her hand at a few other passions: baton twirling, softball, and music, to name a few. Voted Bookworm and Most Likely to Succeed in high school, she went on to earn a college degree in mathematics. Law spent years working as a computer programmer and raising her son, and she now devotes her time and energy to writing romance novels (none of which feature talking raisins). She is a past winner of the Romance Writers of America’s Golden Heart Award and currently serves as president for her local RWA chapter. A native of Kentucky, she lives with her husband in Middle Tennessee.

Lee Ann London once had big plans…scholarship, college, love. Then she found herself raising her deceased sister’s twin girls when their father disappeared. Now, with her beautiful girls, a community that depends on her, and her photography studio finally taking off, Lee Ann may not have the life she’d imagined, but it’s definitely where she wants it. Until Cody, her bad-boy ex, returns to Sugar Springs…

Cody’s childhood put a chip on his shoulder the size of Texas. Bouncing around the foster care system, he was always the one to leave before anyone left him first. Then he found a place he wanted to stick. Lee Ann was the best thing that ever happened to him. Only, he hurt her. Bad. He’s back now, and determined to earn her forgiveness…and maybe win back her love while he’s at it.

Hey Elizabeth! Funny you should ask :) I just agreed to a another contract for three more books. Two will be set in Sugar Springs, with characters you'll meet in that book, and the third will be the next book in my "Caught" series. It'll be about JP's sister, Cat! I can't hardly wait to get to that one!

Hey Mary, great question! I usually know going in whether I want to do a series or not, and if so, I intentionally set it up with three characters that I can use if the publisher wants to do that. But with SUGAR SPRINGS, I'm actually hoping to do more than three! We'l see how well they do, but my fingers are crossed :)
