Beth Chase is too busy planning perfect weddings to worry
about the lack of action in
her own love life. But if she was looking for a man, she wouldn’t be looking at
Colin Pratt. Her boss swears that Best Man Colin is
a quiet scholar and science fiction writer who couldn’t possibly cause a fuss at his own brother’s wedding. He’s
clearly never met the
man in question. Snarky, sexy and more than a little inebriated, Colin is the
final obstacle between Beth and the last perfect
wedding she needs to make partner. Of course, when she helps him into a taxi at the end of the
night she has no idea that he’s only
just begun to poke holes in her professional exterior. Colin might have the
skills to
seduce a romance professional, but can he convince her that he’s the best man
to share her happy ever
after?
******** GUEST POST ********
Love at first sight. It’s hard not to immediately brush off
the possibility, isn’t it? But honestly, we make a lot of decisions almost
immediately after meeting a potential partner. You either find the other person
attractive or you don’t. You like their voice. Or you don’t. They smell good or…
not. You pick up dozens of little signals from their body language that give you
the impression they
are confident, shy, intelligent, funny, or aggressive. Whatever comes later, those first few moments are the
foundation. The person
you’re meeting either seems like a person you could love or they
don’t.
In my new romantic novella, The Best
Man, Colin
Pratt falls hard and fast for the planner at his brother’s wedding.
Unfortunately, he doesn’t make as good an impression on her.
It’s
hard to change first impressions, but he’s going to give it a
try.
How about you? Do you believe in love at first sight
or is that instant attraction
nothing more than hormones? Has it ever happened to you? Do you wish it would?
Come chat with me in the comments. I can’t wait to hear what you all
think.
Ana lives just outside Washington DC with her very supportive
husband and three rather demanding cats. She loves the ocean, Indian food, IKEA,
and cooking. Ana admits to watching too much television and she swears that
someday she’s going to learn how to play the guitar resting on the bookshelf in
her office.

This book sounds good. Loved the excerpt.
I do believe in love at first sight. It has happened to me. I have also had the instant attraction happen also. When you touch someone and a spark happens or you just feel it all the way to the bottom of your toes. I love these scenes in books, they make me have chills cause I know exactly what it feels like. I like how they describe seeing someone for the first time, how you can feel them staring at you. Gives me goose bumps everytime.
Thanks for the giveaway.
