 Hi, ya’ll! I want to thank the peeps with United by Books for having me here today. :) This is my first official tour celebrating the books in this series since I’ve been so busy trying to get these out as quickly as I can, so I’m going to make it worth your time to join in the fun.

Ahhh…being a teenager. I think most of us back then couldn’t wait to be older… and those who are older know they’d do things differently if they had the chance to live through those years again. I think the main time we think about is high school. I was fortunate, I guess. I went to a small-town high school. The school itself was small, and we didn’t have serious cliques. Sure we had groups, but we were intermingled and didn’t make people feel like they had to belong in any certain group. For example, I graduated in the top ten percent of my class, went to college on an academic scholarship, but was also captain of the drill team with long blonde hair and blue eyes. I was smart, but not the stereotypical geek. I didn’t drink or smoke, but I could be at a party where it was happening and not feel pressured. I knew people who used drugs, but I never did. *shrug* there was just no pressure. BUT I’d still do some things differently. I think that’s part of the appeal to reading Y/A or New Adult books. It gives us a chance to live vicariously through those characters.Young, passionate, and the whole world ahead of them. What’s not to love?

The Goddess Series follows Legacy from her Seventeenth birthday up to her eighteenth birthday, when her transition is complete and she’s suppose to officially ascend into her godly status. And it includes her senior year in high school. When everybody should be preparing for college, jobs, and general life-after-high-school changes while enjoying the fun that comes with finally becoming a senior, she must also deal with the mystery surrounding her change. What’s a little teenage angst when she’s going to be powerful one day? ;-) I think having certain abilities would’ve made high school a whole lot more interesting for me!
